In reply to Post #27 You could try Trentside Angling Centre in Abbey Hulton,they may have some as stocked impulse.Impulse has gone,there was rumours locally they might have someone taking it over but I think the guy had second thoughts

To conclude this thread, it's now all sorted. Timeline detailed below:
Boilies ordered on 2nd October with 5 day leadtime.
Three phone calls during week commencing 9th October with no response.
On 12th October, I sent an email to chase the collection.
On 13th October, posted on here about it.
Received email from Impulse on 13th October saying will have a look at it tomorrow.
Eventually spoke to him on 16th October, said he was moving premises and couldn't provide boilies and said he would provide a full refund.
Chased for refund via email on 18th October - no response.
Got refund through PAYPAL on 19th October.
Not at all impressed with this outfit. Fortunately, Dean Towey at SCIENTIFIC BAITS sorted me some bait out, thanks very much. . My advice is to steer clear of Impulse Baits.

In reply to Post #21 I'd hang back on that, the guy who runs it told me yesterday that he is moving premises and hence cannot roll boilies at the moment. Hookbaits OK as he has plenty of these, but not bottom baits.

They were told that they had stopped trading. Is that not the case?? So I can let the boys know who used the bait before.

In reply to Post #1 are they on social media? I have often found that the best way to get a reply from companies who are hard to contact is to contact them on social media and asking in an honest and respectful manor about your order. They will usually reply as they dont want bad publicity.

In reply to Post #4 Unfortunately, it's on an industrial estate with loads of units. And like I said, I tried to find it last year but it doesn't have a sign up. When I spoke to him last year, he told me he had the sign removed to stop people visiting at lunch time and just talking!!
Think next week will venture up there and start going into units and asking where it is. I did ask a couple of people knocking around last year though and they didn't know where it was!!

Anyone ever had any problems from these guys? Placed an order on 2nd October for collection as I only live a couple of miles away. And not heard anything since.
Tried calling 3 times, message left. Tried e-mailing them. Can't even go to their factory because I don't know exactly where it is - I tried previously last year and had to give up, there is no signage as he had it removed.
