I use ESP 12lb soft ghost, merely because I wanted a strong Fluro to avoid any abrasions. If there were any chance of hooking a Pike, I use wire every time.

Massive difference between some brands and even my go to flourocarbon brand Seaguar make different lines for different purposes with different characteristics and price ranges. For lure fishing I prefer braid with a flourocarbon leader of Seaguar ace hard.
