I did the same on my old one. It used to cut out if the element overheated still so make sure particles or small bits don't get stuck under/around it.

Cheers lads. It's basically what I've done on the thermostat. Joined the red wires and eliminated the blue. Bypassing the thermostat. Permanent boil now

Not the best picture as its tricky to see where each wire goes. And would be usedul to know what each led indicates when illuminated.

But assuming its a simple wiring arrangement, the thermostat is effectively just an overide switch, when it reaches a set temperature, its breaks the circuit. If you simply bypass the thermostat, this cant happen, so will continue to boil till its manually disconnected

I'd take the neutral straight to the element and the live into the on/off switch and then out of that to the other side of the element. I'm assuming the black thing near the led's is an on/off switch?

Does anyone no which wires I need to join together to allow this cooker to permanently boil ?

Thank you. Or another way of doing it. There's 2 thermostat type units in there but not sure exactly which ones is the one.
