I just came across the website of Midwater products. Seems like a reliable place to have custom luggage made too.

I've messaged BAS on a few occasions - have always had a prompt and helpful reply and been happy with the product I have recieved.

Personally I wouldn't bother. He never replies and if he does, he makes promises to contact you which he doesn't.

Hope is life haha

Thing is, B.A.S. is the only company who can make what I want. C.A. can too, but not for that price!

Yeah, contacted him on 2 separate occasions, first time he said he would come back to me, never did, chased him twice. Second time he took all the details said what i wanted was doable and he would get back to me with a price and again, he never did.

Won't be asking him a third time that's for sure!

"I also had contact with Ronnee of Bespoke Angling Supplies. He is busy with finishing off orders for Christmas and we will proceed further after Christmas"

I wouldn't hold your breath...

Just a little update.

Edel Maya made me a bag for my infil panel. Quality is really good and nice price! Happy with it and I now would love to have one of their bedchair covers.

I also had contact with Ronnee of Bespoke Angling Supplies. He is busy with finishing off orders for Christmas and we will proceed further after Christmas.

Agree - and either way def worth the wait IMO. I've had items between 1-2 weeks of sketching them which for an inundated small biz is pretty sharp!

Maybe best to join the FB group if you can and post on main B.A.S. page rather than pm. He probably gets inundated with private messages.

Agreed, I have had great service from them. He sometimes can take a day or so to respond, but I've had no issues and the gear is the best.

Very strange and unlike Ronnee . . .you need to message him direct on his own FB (Ronnee Scott Wright) to enquire / order. Posts on the main FB BAS site 5 days ago so dont think they've gone under . . .

That's odd, when I looked the last message was from 11th November, so just 13 days ago.

Contacted him yesterday, but looking at his Facebook page, it seems like he doesn't (actively) promote his company/service anymore. Last message is from 2nd April 2021.

Bespoke angling on FB, do some really good stuff. Best quality I have seen by a long way. They have made a couple of items for me and can't fault them. Great quality materials and zips etc.

Does anyone know an alternative to Cotswold Aquarius?

I wanted to have 3 zips on the standard Aquarius Quiver (which costs 90 pounds) and they charged me an extra 80 pounds. I found that a bit ridiculous.

Speero also has lovely DPM luggage, but don't do custom work I think?
