In reply to Post #1 I used to do the route around Paris ,but after advice from a friend I now always go via Reims . Yes it's longer , slightly more expensive in tolls and fuel , but it's soooo much easier .

In reply to Post #1 2 Supermarkets in Bray, both reasonable size, you'll find everything you need there..
Route - no idea as we drive from Dieppe!
Pointers, Paul or Mick will give plenty of info, they are really good guys, most pegs produce at some point, the fish can move about quite a bit so as far as choice goes it's unpredictable. Each swim fishes a bit differently to the next IME; fish sensibly and go easy with the bait at the start, try to build a picture of what's in front of you bit by bit, usual stuff really. Mesh your hookbaits and take fresh water with you as no drinking water on site; showers are ground water pumped up, bit odd at first but you get used to it. Don't expect to haul from the off; it repays the hard working angler if the fish are out in front of you, really exciting fishing! Mind your head on some of the cabin door frames, freezers in each cabin etc, fantastic set up..
Good luck..

Hi guys any one been here recently (the one just south of Paris )
It will be my first time going in a couple of weeks time so looking at some pointers about the place really.
Also do you take the route the just skips Paris or carry on to just before Reims jt16 I think, this route seems the more straight forward even tho it only about 30miles longer.
I know there's a supermarket in the village but want to know if it's one of the large ones or just a corner shop type.
Thanks 👍
