Well I got to use my MF60 compact 5 season last night.
Cons
It was 4oC and I was a little cold to the point of deciding to use a bedchair cover with it when cold in the future.
I do like to be toasty in the bag but I could feel it was cold along the zips despite the baffles and around my shoulders.
It's heavy.
Pros
It's quite short but the length is ideal for me. I can push it further to the back of the bivvy.

In reply to Post #1 I have the Nash ss3 wide 5 season. Not the latest mf60 but the earlier model. its brilliant , and recommend it, but it weighs a ton. Its warm (I fish long sessions through the winter) and I find that I can balance the bag options through the year. single / double/ open / closed) due to the baffles.
I'm looking to replace it with the latest mf60 ... and will . but I will be interested in this thread.

In reply to Post #1 i used to own the ss4 airlight sleep system and just sold it,i bought the mf60 ss4 standard, ive found it very comfy which is the most important as i do 5 night sessions ,when work permits. yes its a heavy beast ,apart from that the legs are brilliant, ive not fished since late november, i found it warm enough the body baffles work a treat for me anyway, but time will tell, i also own the lightest bed chair on the market the jrc xlite levelbed@6.3kg its like sleeping on a skateboard lol. so il stick with my mf60 beast, at 53 i want comfort being as ive worked in the building trade all my life
and im falling to bits.

In reply to Post #7 Fox flatliner is heavy. Its 16kg without the bag but it's solid comfortable and strong. It's also long at 215 but that's why I bought it. Trakker 365 bag 'just' fits although I don't think I will be folding it up inside the bed as I can see long term issues of putting pressure on the folding mechanism (it could have done with being a couple inches bigger) its always a trade off between comfort and weight. If your lucky enough to be short I would look at the solar system to save weight. I agree I looked at nash mcf60 ss4 and it didn't feel like it would be very warm in winter.

Just got an MF60 compact. It weighs 14.7kg, Nash say 14kg. To say it's 5 season, the bags feel very thin and light, time will tell if warm enough

In reply to Post #1 Had a mf60, it's too long, too heavy and definately not warm enough in winter I had to put a sleeping bag on anything below 5 degrees, the olld ss3 was so much better and warmer, wouldn't recommend the mf60 standard, I have a avid lite system now, warm, comfy and as lite as anything.

In reply to Post #4 I've replaced the mf60 with the solar and I've no regrets

In reply to Post #1 Look at the Solar bedchairs, I have an Avid Bench mark and considered that to be up there with the rest and probably is the Solar however is in a league of its own. That's how bedchairs should be made we truly are royally ripped off.

So looking for a new sleep system for the winter. Think I have narrowed it down to either the Fox 8 leg 5 season system or the Nash mf60.
Just wonder if anyone has one and what their views are.
Thanks
