They stocked 50, late ‘21- then another 50, late ‘23. Plus whatever originals remain and the odd stray. As said, has to be 150 at a push.

That's great thank you.
I read around COVID time they were going to try and catch/move around 50 from one of the other waters (maybe Ibsley) and stock 50 too but could only find a little bit of info on some of the stocking.
Going to be very different for me to mess around on 👍

The number of carp originally in Spinnaker was always very low, don't know how many have been legitimately stocked by Christchurch Angling recently though?

In reply to Post #5 A lot less than that.
Only a handful of originals left, plus the stockies.
Total stock around 100 - 150 max now.

In reply to Post #4 That's good to hear thanks. Do you know what the current stocks are in there, 200-300 or less?
Will be a fair challenge for me to winkle one out either way 🙂

Bumping an old thread.
Does anyone have any relatively up to date info on carp stocks in there, are any of the old ones still swimming around and how have the stockies got on since going in there?
Looking for an autumn/winter spot and I should stop driving past this one and give it a go
Any info appreciated 👍

In reply to Post #1 There is a CAC car park opposite the sailing club entrance, go on the website and it’s marked on the map, I wouldn’t parking in it if it’s been raining though, turns into a lake itself
