The tx4 is a bit more expensive but does anyone know the difference, I'm thing maybe it is much stiffer. I don't mind paying more but if the 4s are too stiff I won't bother as I think the 2's are good enough to cast 130 yards or more.

Had mine 18 months or so and well impressed.
Do everything I require.
Proper casting tool with a bit of give when needed.
Paid £240 for 3 😵
Less than half the price of one of the top end rods.

I am tempted as well, I saw someone using them, he said they are brilliant.
Anyone else have and reviews?

Terry was using TX4 and did 214 yards but he was using .28 with braid leader

I was using TX9 no rig but we did have a cross wind

Cheers mate, was that with these rods and a rig?

From speaking to terry he said use .038 if trying to cast distance with a 4oz lead

Well Terry says its possible, but with a 4oz lead you'll be close to cracking off
I managed 38.5 wraps (154 yards) with 3.25 oz lead and .35mm line.

How's everyone getting on with the tx2? Was 40 wraps with mainline straight through?

I have recently purchased a set, following a casting lesson with Terry Edmonds who recommended them. Great casting rods that are well worth the money, you wont be disappointed

Looking at these rods for long range fishing seeing if anyone has used them or can recommend another rod for similar money? Cheers
