Never killed anyone or done half the crimes of some politicians.

Let him out I say
50 years is an awful long time
but yup he will definitely be institutionalised but that would be the same for someone who murdered who would be allowed out after serving their time.

If a bullet was put through the heads of murderers and for that matter kiddy fiddlers the world would be a safer place, tax payers would be better off and there'd be no need for the conversation.

I don't think many lost any sleep when that SEAL team took out Bin Ladin or when the SAS took out the terrorists in the Iranian embassy, quite the opposite, I don't see the difference.

Let him out done his time, though the shock of how much the world has changed may make him want to return.

If he came out and in many ways I hope he does, I mean he is 70 yrs old ,...he has done his time over and over,the state has made its point..

My thoughts would be ,someone trying to make a name for them selves having a go at him and most likely getting hurt ..in that process, he'd not back down,..plus it seems he is a very fit guy for his age..

I don't know,....my wife was saying ,how would people feel if he moved next door to you and the media constantly watching his every move, scrutiny ..

I reckon he ought to go fishing...,make a mate of him and enjoy peopleless lakes ..

The bloke's an absolute psycho. Would you want him moving next door to you? If they do let him out, I don't think he'd last very long before he's back inside again.

I am pleased to say I have got my dirty dozen,12 piece artwork back and its now in the safe hands of richard, and that is priceless to me. This is one of my best masterpieces to date.
I am also pleased that all those who was good enough to give money to the caravan fund raiser have now received all their donations back.
I wish to draw a close with bamby situation and do not want nothing more to do with him or his hypocritical wife. so please don't write me anymore letters mentioning these two for what his up to as I don't want to know.
I am now awaiting my jam roll result and all i want now is some peace and quiet and to let me get on with it.

Sounds like there are some victims involved here but not alas the one you're saying.

He's not a victim of the system. Nor is he some gangster folk hero. He's been a nasty thuggish criminal who faced the consequences for his actions.

There was a news article on this. Seems the reason he's been kept in is that he has outbursts of violence towards prison staff, It was quite regular until it stopped, last one was in 2018.
According to his lawyer he's being held in a specialist close supervision centre which is like solitary, he's meant to get psychiatric treatment each week but in the last year has only received 13.
Not making excuses but maybe it's the way he's being kept that brings the worst out of him?

Maybe it's time to give him some of his freedom back under license?

maybe stick the uk's secatary of state in isolation for the same amount of time and see how she comes out. add to that Essex old bill who stitched up 2 innocent blokes who went down for 25 yrs all through a grass being in their pocket.

How much has it cost the British tax payer to keep him locked up?

I assume he's in a private facility run by the mate of a Tory minister.

We are under a Tory government until next election, are you saying under their leadership it's going as you like?
I'm mostly law abiding (yes I do 31 in 30mph zone so technically not) but if you want to be in my gang, my gang. do you wanna be in my gang, oh yeah......then why do we let out so many people who've committed rape, murder and other hideous crimes after serving half their sentences?
Don't get me wrong I'm all for hard sentencing and making them doing them do their full time, no time off for behaving, but if you don't behave then your sentence should be increased which is what has happened here.
if you're going to keep Bronson inside, fair enough but let's apply that to everyone .

I say as a starter move him to lesser prison and see how it goes from there.
If he shows he can't trusted then put him in back and let him rot along with all the others but we're going to need a massive prison building programme.

And I absolutely know I don't need to explain myself with regard to how I feel about the tory government ...

My post is taking the mickey out of the whole 'he might be a violent criminal but he's a good old fashioned geezer' bs. I find it all a bit juvenile and silly. It's like the 14 year old lads at school thinking they are 'roadmen' because they got a black hoodie with built in goggles for Christmas off their nanna and they told a pcso to **** off once while their mate filmed it to go on tiktok. He's not Robin Hood. He's a very naughty boy. And his supporters aren't the gangsters they think they are / idolise.

I'd imagine that any of those who get released early have gone through the same processes as bronson (or whoever he identifies as this week) and found to have taken their time in prison as rehabilitation rather than an opportunity to commit further crimes. It's definitely not a perfect system, but it's the same rules for all of them and he's proven he can't meet the standards required. But I'm not an expert

Maybe he could be sent to a facility in, I don't know, Rwanda or something, to see if he can start to behave himself....

Anyway, the sun is out I've a new venue to investigate and Liverpool are away at City in the early kick off so I've a sofa to hide behind...

I'm not an expert either but I agree it's not a perfect system and a big part of that is the rules are not applied fairly to everyone.
