Firstly has anyone fished hunts corner recently? I’ve never been to linear but am booked on with a friend in pegs 5&6 middle of November. From what I’ve read the crays can be a nightmare . I’ve never fished a lake with crays, any advice on avoiding them, certain baits ect. Plastic hookbaits will be used if they are bad.
Ten of us block booked Hunts this May for a weekend. Crays weren't a massive problem, but they were active in some areas.

Mid November should of cooled off enough for them to be not too much of a problem. Just take a bit of bait wrap with you just in case

Cheers lads, like I said I’ve never fished a lake with crays before so didn’t know if a certain bait attracted or deterred them. I’m thinking of hemp and corn for 2 rods with plastic corn on for safety and then another spot and just fish boilies

Fish normally and change if you have to.

My local club lake is full of crays but by November they seem to be less active.
Tiger nuts if allowed are a deterrent, I also put quite a bit of particle out to keep them occupied.

I've fished lakes with a lot of crays in the past and did ok with match the hatch hard hookers most of the time. Occasionally I would reel in without a bait but this was the exception. Plastic baits and tigers are good alternatives if needed. Fishmeal baits and tungsten components on your rig both seem to attract them so may be worth bearing this in mind. As weather cools though you are far less likely to have any issues but have some of the above as back up if needed

JIC, you try the methods you have and are still having trouble, might be worth getting some cork balls to stick in your glug pot, see here 👍

These are decent but might not be worth it to only use the once
