I'm considering getting a portable power station that I can take with me midweek to extend my overnighters so I can work on the bank.
Main requirement here is keeping my laptop powered for up to 2 days. I have small power banks for phone, headtorch, Deeper etc.
In reality I wouldn't be using it that often so I don't want to spend much. I also want to remain as light as possible. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What's the spec of the laptop?
When you say work will it be light or heavy use ?

I think you might be in the 1000Wh so around £500

Just bought an Anker Solix C300X DC on deal from Argos for circa £150 . . .very compact and didn't drop lower than 80% on a 48hr session (charging phone/tablet/radio/vaper etc). V Compact and hard cases readily available from Amazon . . .might try it with my laptop at home tomorrow to see how it performs

I have the Solix 1024wh. Bought the C300 and not use the big boy since. The C300 is great. On a 3 day trip I can charge my laptop, phone, tablet daily and it still has charge left when I get home.

I have the Solix aswell - think it was about £100 on Amazon. Great bit of kit.

I'd say light to medium use. It's not a high spec - just a daily standard HP elite book but it does need a 3-pin mains plug rather than usb-c
Edit - just looked and yes it will charge via usb-c! Bonus

I would not go 1024w model if honest unless you need weeks worth of supply

That is all you need. The C300 which does USB C charging to 140w over PD and normal plug with 100w Solar panel to charge if you every need more power. It weighs next to nothing, compact and even in France with solar panel you will never run out of power.
Having both the C1000x and C300 I cant see myself using the big unit again.

I have the Solix C300X DC and solar panel, I take my lappy with me and never have a problem with power, phone, speaker, watch etc., all charged without any drama - love it, got the hard case for it too - it's a lot lighter than lugging a leisure battery around with you.. the solar panel is a game changer for foreign trips.
Cheers guys I'll take a look at the C300 as suggested - sounds like a suitable solution for my needs

The C300X DC version doesn't have a 3x pin plug interface (which I was toying with in terms of bait boat battery top ups) and is smaller / lighter than the C300X (2.8kg vs 4.1kg) . . both have the same power storage capacity. The DC has a pop up light which is bright enough on full extension to illuminate the entire bivvy if required!

Sorry yes, mine is the C300 with 2 x 13amp socket outlets, I've not used both at the same time, but it copes admirably with a lappy plugged into one..
