looks like theres a cheaper set of delkims with recieer coming out,just response and volume dials and and a powered button....not sure what other features if any they have..due out end of april

new "budget friendly" delkims, the ev-r coming in at £429.99
4 year warranty. I'm sure they will sell well.
I was tempted to get a set until I saw the price. That's not budget friendly pricing.

So thats only £150 cheaper than total fishinf are selling the txi d set for. Think id just find the extra £150. I think they needed to be around half the price to have made it worth while

I only paid £500 for my v2's. But, guess the simplicity will appeal to quite a few anglers.

Good idea... The latest top of the the range Delks are overly complicated in my opinion. Need a master in computer programming just to operate them....

If you've managed to master a smart phone / computer/ tablet I don't really get that argument I find them a doddle.
If you can't remember a feature just go on YouTube and find a video of how to.
We all left the caves a long time ago ðŸ˜
Remember these are not a direct replacement for the old EVs, they are an upgrade

When I bought my old txis back in 1999 they were £147.50 an alarm.
You get a very well featured product backed with a 4 year warranty what's not to like ?
For my two rod set up I was thinking of getting the sonik gizmo2s but will they last the course - don't want to buy twice ?

Can't get my head around why they stopped the evd alarm probably the best simple budget alarm on the market at £50 ,if u wanted one with a receiver then just go full hog and buy the txi d. It seems they have based theese new alarms around being more simplified to use instead of just sticking with the evds.

The cost of electronic products, the semiconductors , the plastics and tooling with manufacturing costs in the UK most likely meant margin was too low to continue with them.

Well there must of been a demand for a simpler to use product with reciever. It seems I'm not the only who thinks the top of the range model is overly complicated. Can see them discontinuing the TXI, D model in the future.. I'm no ludite. But switched from Delkim to ATTS for an easier life..
