With the folding of Nash bait, then Samir, that posh Henry guy, and now Mark Voosen all jumping ship, is the end coming for Nash?
Ive noticed that the stocks of their gear in the shops hasn't been great either. I haven't really got much of their stuff (only putty and a bushwacker) but i do like that they bring something a bit different to the other big companies, so I hope not, but it doesn't look great

Nash tackle has been like that for years, they inovated and some of the gear WAS quality of it's time.
However 20-25 years ago you could go to Climax Tackle and pick up end tackle, bait, luggage cheap as chips and there were bins of all sorts for 99p
It's always on sale because the big companies buy up everything with their gold account discounts.
I think I have two or three packets of old Nash hooks in the hook bank ( biscuit tiin in the loft) and some vintage bait flavourings.

I didn't go, but I think they had a big stand at the big one which wouldn't make sense for them if they were closing surely.

I would.say theyre streamlining the business, getting all the big earners off the books....resetting the business and going again....covid gave alot companies a false sense of extraordinary growth, them new customers are now probably playing golf,flying drones or magnet fishing

Consultants being owed money. I've noticed aswell there Social media and YouTube content has dried up a bit. But they have taken on Scott Lloyd as a consultant and he can't be cheap. Maybe one more roll of the dice.. Who knows..

Not sure really, just strikes me as that time of year for product launches so old stock being cleared and running low is pretty normal to me. I've been keeping a eye on Fox tackle boxes, same thing, low stock in most places, I assume a ship will be docking soon from China.

I've never understood how Kevin Nash got off the hook for his involvment in the downfall of Carp Fishing. And kevin Maddocks, both of them sold the love of the sport for consumerism and profit. Two 70lb carp being stocked into a lake are the direct result of what Kevin Nash and others started. Materialistic cash grab, race to the bottom.
Danny Fairbrass seemed to always take the flack, but I think he has somewhat managed to turn it round by at least trying to give something back.
£2000 syndicates, rammed banks, crap foreign made tackle, bloated munter foreign fish, screaming louts in carp videos, Drum and bass. 10 hooks for £6, our sport run by corporations.
The death of Nash would be a step in the right direction.

More and more Korda stuff is finding it's way into my fishing, I actually like the fact I'm contributing to Embryo in a little way. I was a big Fox user 90s onwards until they tried to tie you into only using there gear with odd sized swivels instead of 8s. Yesterday I had a Fox Zig & Rig box next to my Korda rig safe, like chalk and cheese, the Fox just felt cheap.
Oddly I never really used anything much Nash, think I bought a few packs of the early fangs, that's about it. I did recently but a couple of the covers cheap, then realised odd sized foam compared to what I have (old Fox sizes). More tar for the 'spares box'

To be fair, we have or at least had a lot to thank Kevin Nash for. If you go back 40 years, he really did produce some quality tackle almost on a cottage industry basis. It's a shame in some ways how things have turned out, but in my opinion, his tackle has been fairly poor quality for probably 25 years or so now they are clearly having problems and I feel for the guys that work there. The accounts are an absolute disaster, about as bad as it gets.

Well it's exactly the same thing. As soon as they persue profit, instead of what's right, everything gets worse for the end user.

Yes my mate bought your bed chair off you a few years ago, I seem to remember you saying Nash is gash 🤣 I'm not a fan either, although did pick up a ansh titan hide pro for cheap which I'm yet to use but seems great design and really light so will see soon how it goes and how long it lasts!
