I did notice their website and eBay store was down so good to know it's for positive reasons.

JAG did not purchase Cotswold Aquarius, UPE engineering did.

UPE own JAG, and now Cotswold Aquarius too, along with one or two others ...

Just when you think Cotswold stuff couldn't be any more overpriced........

Why do you think it going to get more expensive? There is a limit to what people are prepared to pay for luggage. Even when it's made in this country. I've a few cotswold pieces, is the quality any better than what's made in the far East, jury's out. Hopefully exciting times for the brand.

From what I see JAG have a very good reputation, and according to a few threads on here some of the Cotswold stuff can be a bit hit and miss, so I'd hope JAG will sort that out. Then we'll have quality made British stuff, hopefully as it once was (assuming they keep U.K manufacture).

Just seen a post on Insta. I read it as Cotswold Aquarius are collaborating with Prolite explorer. No mention of buying the brand. Bit like the bits they've done with subsurface..

I know the guy who started Cotswold Aquarius 35 years ago.

The company has just been sold to UPE Engineering Ltd, the owners of JAG.

Well, the good news is, it's British made so be proud, not Chinese mass produced *****.that most are pedalling. Let's hope the quality stays the same, it lasts for years

Let's hope they can now make a rucksack that is actually comfortable to carry too!

I found the opposite. I bought the early stuff & it was ****. As a result I would never consider buying again.

one thing garaunteed, if any CA item doesnt perform to the high standards upe/jag expect they will sort it out for you....their customer service is absolutely top class, rivalled by nobody.

Agree some of it was shoddy and stupidly overpriced despite the British tag. Put me right off.

Same for me 👍

Had CA carryalls for years before the prices went silly. Switched over to a rucksack. Tried CA ones on the shop. All terrible. Settled on a brand new surplus rucksack. Never looked back. 30 quid well spent.
