is it just me or does anyone else have trouble getting dark matter tubing through the tail rubber thing? Ive tried moistening with saliva i even tried pouring a bit of veg oil down the bloody thing and I still cant get it through

Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs. But have you tried cutting the tubing at an Angle. Tends to find its way in easier..

I use a latched gate needle small as possible or even a tough splicing needle to pull the tubing through then just cut off the damaged part . but yeah its a pian

Awful design, I got one done and binned the other after trying and swearing for a while.

I struggle to get the little silicone sleeves (the ones the no trace beads sit on) on to the tubing. Anyone found an easy way of doing this?

I used shrink tube instead. Get a close fit and just brush over it with a lighter.

Sits perfect and still grips tight

If you want to use a bead on the tubing look at the gardener tackle saftey bead it's a tapered bore beads it grip the tubing but will come of in case of breakage

Lubrication always works in the first instance

Don't worry about them creasing up when putting them on when in position rub them back and forwards and then they Straighten themselves out.



Reading that back sounds weird but it does work.

Aa splicing needle and plenty of saliva works well for these ! Take it slowly and it works fine
