Looking for a Mozzi mesh throw for me umbrella. Seen a few that attach to the bell cap. Thing is my brolly don't have one. Is there any out there attach via other means.

Why not just get a oversized midge/mozzy net and cover the entire brolly, peg it down at the back or somewhere?

Angling Direct do one, it's designed to clip onto poles, might be more useful if you could find a way to anchor it?

I had a similar problem I just attached a length of 12mm webbing to the mozzie cover and peg down at the rear

Searched " advantages mozzi mesh " and it came up...
It's for a pram hood syle shelter though.. Its elasticated so might grip around the brolly.. might be a suck it and see job..

Was thinking something simular with a length of Para/ sash cord. Just wanted to see whether there was anything out there purpose built before I went down the heath Robinson route..

They used to do an actual brolly one that did cover the whole brolly.That one is for pram hood bivvies but it might work like you say.I know Fox do one for brollies

I have one on a V1 Tempest Brolly - it's rough and ready but it's fine really and more than adequate,

Aqua do one or used to that was elasticated along the top so when it was pegged out it was pulled tight

Could you not adapt the type that fit over the bell cap? Maybe take a piece of parachord from the bell cap position down the back of the brolly and then pegged to the ground?

Looks like I might have to do that. ESP one looks the best bet. Failing that strategically placed mozzi repellents. They do seem to like me.. but that's another thread..
