Does anyone know if/where you can buy just the release mechanism from the fox captive back leads?

I doubt very much you can buy any of it as spares.

It's surely a bin and replace item once broken. Might be worth looking on the fox site though. Then your LTS can order for you.

Not everyone is happy to just ‘bin and replace' stuff. This attitude is the reason we produce so much unnecessary waste as a nation. Consume consume consume. We should all do better by fixing and repairing where we can, instead of just binning perfectly usable stuff.

Get where your coming from but for the price of these its just as easy to get news ones and keep the others for spares. Unless someone has got some tucked away they don't use anymore 👍🏼

I've said what it is and how it's seen by fox. It's total value mean it's not worth fox keeping spares for.

That's not my point of view but how it is. So chill out you don't know me or how I feel. I don't need a lecture.

Replacing the leads themselved with the Gardener version is an option (they actually work better aswell imo)

If its the gate mechanism I reckon its the same part they use in the swinger / black label mini swinger indicators . . . Fox are pretty good on spares; send customer services an email and you may get lucky!
