Has anyone seen or taken a punt on these.
I know looks don't necessarily mean the internals are the same however Fox are notorious for relabling things from china, the cookware being the prime example.

Go on ali express website search Jy-82 bite alarms their slightly cheaper your probably get charged import tax if you buy from the eBay listing on Ali express the tax is normally already included in the price but you could still get charged import tax . From reports I've seen people that bought them for £132 posted a few weeks ago didn't pay any import tax . I did a post on here a couple of weeks ago asking about them when you could have got 4 alarms and receiver for £132 posted from Ali express but that offer has now gone they have changeable led colour , same alarm tones as the Rx+

I'm no scientist, but on their video showing their waterproof effectiveness there's quite a bit of air bubbles. All that water sitting in the alarm, sure it may work initially but can't see them being 'waterproof' long term.

They can't be any worse than an actual Fox RX+
I bought 3, 2 of them have gone wrong so far.
I'm a long time user of Fox alarms (original DXRs and user of all their alarms since) and so this isn't sour grapes...but I am not impressed with the waterproofing of the RX+ (I had may as well have bought Delkims if I wanted leaky alarms!)
At least buying the snides will be cheaper when they go wrong...probably out of the same factory but without the Fox Tax

lol yep, they are filling with water. You can see they float one end until the air comes out and water fills them up, then they sink. She's even shaking the water out when she takes them out. Working 10 seconds after being submerged is nothing like working a week or a month later when they've been left soaked through.
Unless the electronics inside are totally sealed from the case then they're not going to last long.

Always the case with some alarms that you get some dodgy ones unfortunately...I have owned a set of 4 RX+ for 3 years, not one of them has missed a beat

I must admit I'm a bit of a brand snob, but I'm miffed that I missed 4 of these for £130. Spend that on a few bags of bait. If anyone who got that deal wants to flog a set second hand, I'm sure I can rustle up £75 or so 🤣

It's very likely a contract manufacturer fox were using went bust / got stuck with a load of stock stock / or an employee stole the designs and got them built elsewhere to make a quick buck
Common place sadly in China, will they stand the test of time have they been manufactured to a high quality standard, probably not.
