Having taken the kids quite a few times over the last few months I've fallen in love with float fishing again.
I was just wondering what rods you would recommend for standard waggler fishing for various species including carp up to about 10/15lb?
Also for big Perch? ( well big to me up to about 3lb or so)

I use a 11ft Korum all-rounder, 1,25lbs. Ideal for me.

Yup, just a 1-1.5 TC Barbel Rod would be a good all rounder for that fishing.

I use a 12' Korum glide power for Tench/small Carp/general float fishing. Really nice for the money. The all-rounder is more of a compromise for lighter float fishing and I know people that use them with 12lb line for lighter Barbel fishing etc, but that's a world away from Perch fishing and Perch fishing is a world away from a 15lb Carp. They're not expensive rods, possibly one of each would give you two really good options?

Can fully recommend Drennan Acolyte . . I have 13' Plus Compact (now discontinued but has a removable butt section which means you can set it up / permanently pre-rig like a two piece rod) which I mainly use trotting for Barbel & Chub. Its not only silly lightweight (making it comfy to hold in the hand all day) but its got a fine tip and grunt in the butt making it suitable for all fish from 2lb chub to 12lb Barbel . . .its one of my favourite all time rods - could easily handle double figure carp on the waggler . . .
Drennan have now released an Acolyte Specimen which is basically a stepped up 'Plus' . . I have my eyes on the 15' for next season!
On the other end of the spectrum (price wise) I also have a pair of 10' Garbolino Rocket Carp Pellet Wag rods . . .used these regularly when the kids were younger and still get them out in the summer on commercials when bored of syndicate lake . . . fantastic vfm and great fun with doubles etc

Shakespeare make some pretty decent budget friendly match rods from around 35quid.
light match up to heavier pellet waggler type rods. Worth a look if your not willing to spend too much - and of course, ebay always has some options if your willing to wade through the search results. Good luck!
