Hi All,
Any users of the korda compac chair? Or something similar people can recommend.
Quite liked the idea of the small arms.
This will just be for evening chair / for my kids when they come.

Best chairs for kids are these if you can source some - Chub also used to do the same chair rebranded. Mega lightweight but surprisingly comfy; also double as guest chairs on hols etc
I've kept mine since the kids were little and used them regularly . . .

I have the Avid version. Not to sure whether they still produce them on not. But you will find plenty of collapsible camping low chairs on the likes of Amazon.

I bought the solar version just because it was on offer. They all appear to be basically the same chair. I really like it, comfortable to sit in and packs down small. Use just like you're intending for sitting watching the water in the evening.

I've just bought a second hand Fox version off Faceache for £30, there seems to be loads on there for some reason. It's low, doesn't have the extendable feet like the Korda one, but it'll do the job for a lightweight chair.

They can sit a little higher than other similar style chairs. And tbh it's been alright, but the plastic guides and bits used don't suggest longevity

I had the solar low chair, it's the same as the fox and avid, and trakker now do one too.
It was fine for sitting in the bivvy door way, but it's so low your ass is an inch off the floor.
It was a struggle to get up out of it...
I had to change it for the korda compaq, and this has been brilliant.
Ass is about 4-5 inches off the floor, but the small side handles allow you to give a little push up and get up without having to do a commando roll.
It's low enough to allow me to easily make a brew or cook without bending down.
With my bedchair pushed back in my tempest 100 and the korda chair up against the bedchair I can still sit in the doorway even if its raining as the skull cap gives a bit more cover.
