OK, the carp are cruising around the top at about 60 - 70 mtrs out.
Got a couple of adjustable zigs set just below the surface. How do I feed them with biscuits?
Too far to catapult and would think spodding them out over the fish's head would spook them off.
Ther's often a cross wind so controller floats drift to quickly hence the zig approach.

If there's a cross-wind then the spod is defo the one. Just spod off the fish and drift the floaters in.
Tbf the spod doesn't always scare them off even on their heads. Once you've got them going you can get away with murder sometimes.

The old anchored floater. Bit of a forgotten method. But great when there on top and you've got a bit of drift. As the previous poster said. For some reason if you've got them going on the floaters. They don't seem to mind spods or spombs crashing in around them. Why not try attaching little PVA mesh bags of floaters and cast them in amongst. Bit less disturbance. Or if you can get the distance. Again mesh bags with added stones and pult them out.

Spodcopter - little gardner pocket rocket and your hooklink set up helicopter style (naked) - a bit less drift and your negating spodding as your hookbait is close to the freebies from the outset. Failing that - beachcaster. . . .the cheats method of floater fishing

Yes - the little yellow one is perfect because you don't want too much drag when playing the fish - if you keep the hooklink at 2ft (and feather the cast) it should mitigate tangles and the spod well out of the water once you've got the fish up / under control . . . you can also fill it with liquids / cloud slop to create further attraction around your freebies / draw attention to a single floating hookbait . .

Pva mesh bag of pellets fixed to your lead.fish one up wind of the other. So as they float away they travel over the other rod. Repeat cast the up wind rod.leave the other in place.

No need dip your foam in a food glug or salmon oil. The fish are already there piece of black zig foam. Maybe ontop due to a fly hatch

My experience of fishing zigs just under the surface is lots of foul hooked fish, they swim through the line dragging the hookbait and hook into there pectoral fin, I stopped using it for that reason.
