Just come back from a night and my sleeping bag is soaked and starting to smell funny. Anyone know how to wash one without breaking. It's a tracker big snooze.

I always do mine in the bath tub. Soak with bit of powder and luke warm water. Then hang it out to dry

If it fits in the washing machine then I do mine on a normal wash, if not then it's off to the dry cleaners/launderette.

Just be careful handling it when heavy and wet, it's very easy to damage any baffle stitching, and make sure you rinse it well, nothing worse than a itchy bag

I always drain the water out then stand on it in the bath to make as much water go out before transport (actually gross when you see the water go brown whilst washing it
)
Then I transport it in a dirty clothes basket as it is heavy as f...
I wouldnt do mine in a washing machine regardless if it fits or not due to the weight. Cant be good for the machine imo

agree, wash in the bath then rinse with shower head till water runs clear/clearish. squeeze as much of the water out as possible then dry outside, laying out flat if poss as so not to pull the stitching

use cold or luke warm as it can shrink like a bstd

Use liquid soap if washing it in the bath.
Using biological washing machine powder could cause skin rashes if all of it isn't rinsed out properly, and it's a right bugger to rinse properly because of the size and wet weight. Simply leaving it in a bath of clean water to rinse it won't work - it needs thoroughly agitating and copious amounts of clean water to do it properly.
Also liquid soap is what you need to wash your Gore Tex type waterproofs so it's always handy to have some in 👍

Pure liquid soap is the ONLY thing I wash anything fishing related especially waterproofs or bivvies LINKY POO 
I also use Nikwax for my water proofs normally once a year and it also contains pure soap
More recently on my 15 year old German heavy duty Gortex waterproofs after washing I spray the Knee areas that are now a bit worn with Grangers PERFORMANCE REPEL PLUS
this is very easy after washing and while slightly damp simply spray and let it dry then fully waterproof
