I've had them take on water when using them long, a mate of mine bought some foam and plugged his and it worked a treat, only a few quid I think.off amazon

How long is your bushwhacker? The advert lists them as enough bungs for 15 metre, 25 metre, 35 metre and 45 metre poles.

I don't t own one so had to Google it
a standard bushwhacker Has 10 sections to make 15 m
Each section has 2 ends
The 15m kit comes with a top and a bottom so that should be 20 pieces for a 15m kit
And so on.

45m =30 poles@1.5meters each = 60 bungs 1 for each end.

i had a scare this year, not concentrating and didn't clip a section properly,shipping it out,the whole lot sank like a stone apart from the xl spoon..so i know first hand .lol

I have thought about squirting a bit of expanding foam in the end of each section.

Plumbers pipe lagging maybe, cheap as chips, a lot of net floats use it, removable too. Cut the slit in it, compress, insert and it should grab, a 1m piece at sub £1 should do 4 pieces or more, depends whats req to float the section, you may not even need that much, bulk packs even cheaper.
