I've realised I'm a very important part of my carp fishing equipment missing since starting again, but a little shocked at how much Reubens are new these days especially the 1oz scales.

So, are the 1oz divisions really worth the extras or are 2oz divisions good enough?

I guess it depends how important accuracy is to you?

Edit: 20 odd difference nowadays by the looks of it. Swear I spent 80 on mine 15 years ago so not increased that much.

1s, they hold there value pretty well so there's little in it to me, but it's your choice and your equipment.

I've got a cheaper set. I only really bother to weight to the nearest 1/4 (4oz) anyway so couldn't see the point.

Up to you whether accuracy to the near rest ounce is important to you.

I was gifted a set of the digital 120lb Rueben's by a mate who packed in.. honestly never looked back.

have 1oz readings on them, easy to tare and prevent any issue with shake when you weighing fish. Keep them in a waterproof pouch and they have never missed a beat.

If your not bothered by the George's Cross 56 notes for 60 x 2oz version at AD, you could be a Dai Bach or Sweaty Sock though so add a tenner.

2oz division is more than accurate enough for me
