hi all,just wondered what you can legally take to france now through french customs since Brexit? cheers in advance
I've taken food and bait through customs at Folkestone (train) been checked and never had any problems
They are more concerned with swabbing your car for explosives than a little bit of food 👍

thanks for the advice.
il be travelling alone so dont want to stop ar carrerfour and have to do a shop for food as my gear will be left on the roofrack and trailer unattended is asking for trouble.
any idea on taking particles?is this classed as foodstuff? is dried better and prep them on the bank?

Been to France many times since the new restrictions were imposed.
Never had any issues with bait or food .

Mate, take what you want, you'll be fine. We have two fridges full of food running off electric in full view in the back of our vehicle and nobody seems to be bothered about the fact they are there or what's in them. Put your bait at the front of the trailer and pack all your gear on top of it. We've never had any problems whatsoever.

Went to France first week of June.
The van was 'dragged' through the X-ray area, but the guy didn't want to unload anything or ask any questions...so bait and food were not even mentioned.
Only thing they asked about was the usual 'gas bottle' question...even then they don't care about the little Coleman 500 sized bottles (I asked them a few years back, just to be sure I wasn't breaking rules. I didn't fancy them exploding whilst going through the chunnel).
