Hi what is the best range extender for the deeper
Was looking at the nd one it's half the price and judging by the size looks like it would push the range further than deeper own thanks

Not sure on 'the best' as I've only used 1, from Matt at fisheye. Customer service is excellent. Not used mine at range but I've no reason to doubt it will work and I'm sure if you had any issues they'd be sorted quickly. I'm sure he'll have feedback re range, just ask.

I've got the ND one, I think it's the older version, and it's absolutely spot on, wack a power pack in there & once you've connected once it doesn't skip a beat. Had it out to up to 150m and still had signal

Apparently the vonets vap11s is the same thing as the nd extender a lot cheaper just have to make a few things yourself

Hi - recently bought first bait boat and wanted a range extender for my deeper. Bought the deeper on and was faultless in both ease of set up, size and use. Max range I was using it was about 140 - 150 yards and no sign of signal loss. Built in battery and lasted the whole trip to France no problem.

I had an Infinity mk2 from Baitboat Mods that worked brilliantly with my Deeper Chirp - Compact 5ah that massively improved the range, I had mine taped it to the back of the tablet; Just checked their FB page and it transpires the business no longer exists - Ben the owner has passed unfortunately
You may be able to pick one up 2nd hand? Only problem is the Deeper SSID needed to be programmed prior . .

Hi, as said the ND one uses a Vonets vap11s.
I made one myself using a Vonets vap11s.
Put it in a Klip Lok Food Container, with a small Power Bank.
Put a bankstick adapter One for a camera, had to get a nut for the camera thread, in the bottom of container,
2 holes in the top for the aerials to through.
Works well, used to at least 200m.
Uses very little power.
Set up a bit tricky, but easy enough.
Once Vonets paired/ bridged with the Deeper, it vanishes !!!!!!!
Don't WORRY, you could say its now part of the Deeper.
So how do you know its working ?
ONLY ONE WAY, Watch the Purple(?) light on the Vonets, its flashing very fast ie its transfering data to & from Deeper. NOTE even before its paired/ bridged it flashes fast. When paired/ working with Deeper its very very very fast. If Deeper removed from the water, light will revert back to just flashing fast.
O and its confirmed, when your getting info from Deeper when it 200 m away.
Once Vonets is paired with the Deeper, thats it, you don't after pair again !!!!!
But if you want to use the Vonets extender with anything else, say Home Wifi or another Deeper. You will have to reset the Vonets & go through the pairing/ bridging again.
I used the ND video to set up my Vonets & Deeper. Just write down the steps.
If your feeling flush you could buy the ND one, its all set up with Holder for your phone.

ps IMO the thing that causes all the probs, is the Wifi Extender vanishes when it paired/ bridged with something.
OK alot use the Vonets vap 11s (ND etc). But in theory most if not all 2.4Ghz Wifi extenders should work.
pps i'll be using the Wifi extender alot, even if i'm just casting the Deeper.
