Want to get some reels to out on my 3lb scopes. Was thinking gs4000's or ss2600's or something similar. Don't want baby big pits slightly too big for my needs. Wish there was a reel between the size of a castizm and 2600, or is there?

What about okuma inception 6000 little bit bigger than ss2600 but smaller than Daiwa castizm and would pair up great on 10ft rods

Already have them they're not smaller mate. Bigger I reckon. I'll have to do a side by side but yeah slightly too big

If you're willing to look away from Daiwa, I can advise to have a look at Penn.
They have from each series a 2000-8000 version.

But it is a bit “blingy”
Good reels for the money though
I also have ss2600 and the gs4000

I think 2600 are the perfect size, if you think they're too big why not get some ss1600 or look for some ss850?

If you are prepared to try another make what about some shimanos, on my 10ft rods rods I've use the old GT4000 BRs the modern equivalent are the 6000 size range and a modern-day version these are bullet proof

PS i have Castizms and SS2600's. Fit exactly in between. Big spool size so less memory build up as you get on smaller arbor spools.

Emcast 25as - any 25mm spool is what you want IMO
