Has anyone got a phone number for total fishing tackle. Theres no contact number anywhere. Bought a daiwa tournament match reel which has a faulty bale arm and ive requested a return on the website but no one seems to be bothered to authorise it so i can send it back as it has to be authorised by them before you can send it back. I hate these shops that dont have a phone number to contact them. It all has to be done by email or whatsapp or messenger.

They never answered the phone when they did have one. WhatsApp does actually get a response but agree it's a s**t way to run a shop.

Its absolutely shocking way to run a shop. Wont use them again unless its through ebay as its easy to send things through ebay. Tried the stupid chat on the website but nothing. I paid through paypal so will open a case if they dont reply.

I've said before I will not buy from any on line retailer that doesn't give a phone number and an address that can be visited. If they are not approachable by phone and face to face in my opinion they don't deserve to be in business.

I've used them before and never had an issue - BUT

how can any retailer afford to offer big discounts? It has to change its business model to ensure that it makes a living. You just can't have M&S service at Aldi prices. The Tackle Box has knowledgeable people waiting to serve, they pick up the phone within 5 rings, they are an angler first emporium. The type of shop you take a kid just into fishing to ask advice and what venue to go to.

If we want absolute best price - it will come at a price.

Yes you can and I have done when fishing berners- my point was you can't phone them and the focus is on an Amazon model of web sales with the retail as a bolt on. It's not a criticism just that we can't have it all.

I didnt even realise you couldnt ring them anymore as ive definitely phoned them in the past so this must be a recent thing. They replied within 10 mins on whatsapp with a return label and also a prepaid qr code to use at the post office so all good.

Used them a number of times and have had mixed experiences with items sent also after sales response, the after sales service I found was slow. Example, I wanted to enquire regarding a particular item before making an expensive purchase but no response, so ordered elsewhere saved a fiver and two day delivery was free.

After my last experience I wouldn't use them again, I ordered a bivvy paid for next day delivery and was still waiting 2 weeks later, when I finally got a response I asked if I'd get my next day delivery charge back, they replied no, its only next day delivery when it's been dispatched!

A few days later I got a phone call apologising but they didn't have it in stock, I could wait for them to come in or have my money back , asked for a refund, which in fairness to them was immediate.

I then contacted the Tackle Tavern who agreed to price match and I had it the next day.

The only good thing I can say about TFT is that often they are cheap, but when good reputable companies like Tackle Tavern will price match why give yourself the grief.
