Low stretch lines that haven’t been discontinued? (15 posts / 1,852 views)

There used to be a good choice of good quality low stretch lines a few years back, technium black and cm90 being the best I've used. Both of these are now discontinued annoyingly .

I know there is touchdown which I found ok but not a patch on the technium or cm90. I've tried the Gardner gthd and really didn't like it. Is there anything out there that people can recommend?

according to shimano the technium black wiill be back available in the summer. they replied to me yesterday on one of their fb posts

The Fox exocet and exocet pro are both pre stretched so have very little stretch when casting. I use the pro and found it needs a few casts with a heavy lead to get it to behave properly.

CM90 had more stretch than Touchdown. Had additional pros, though, I agree.
If you're not looking to cast long range Touchdown is good choice.

What's the stretch like on thinking anglers ogx?

Sounds decent the rigmarole flx, it's not wirey is it ?

Not wirey, I have 12 lb and 15lb on a set of reels. This replaced Thinking Anglers that was awful.
