The pod I have takes ages to assemble so for a short session I dont even bother with it.

I don't even take mine apart. Just leave it set up and sling it into the car then onto the barrow, then onto the ground. Do it in reverse when going home.

That assumes that you can park close to home but that is rarely the case for me. So carrying a made up pod arround North London streets is not ideal

I went with a Chris Brown pod - the Phil Andrews set up.
Banksticks and alarms stay attached to buzz bars and slide into my unhooking mat, poles then sit in my holdall if I need them.

Cygnet Quicklock pod is worth a look, set up in seconds and cheap if that's what you want.

Sonik xtractor pod is very quick to set up
If you want a quick super compact pod the original solar sof pod is hard to beat and can be picked up for a bargain price second hand.
For the time being I have found that I can carry the set up pod, minus the alarms, in my Gardner sling. Also like that I could probably leave it in the car whilst that would be risky in its proper case

Ive got a saber terrian pod which i bought off FB marketplace because i was fishing stages, its designed like the Korda singles.
Im more than impressed with it and its just stored inside my unhooking mat.

Jag RP1 is probs the quickest pod - uprights / alarms / indicators can all be left insitu - all you need to do is open out the arms and its done

Im kicking myself
What I dont like is screwing banksticks, which the pod uses, on to buzz bars. There is not enough space in the case to leave them on.
Looking at various videos of spods it came to me !!!
Leave the inner part of the bankstick screwed to the buzzbars but unclip the outer part of the bankstick and take it off.
This leaves it shorter to store in the bag and simple to put back on
SIMPLE !!!
Its taken me many years to suss that out
