Well what an absolute bunch of lying useless scumbags this company are.Within the space of three days they have lied and messed up two deliveries,the first saying I have received an item that has not arrived.I have video evidence to prove they never delivered to my address now the two powerporters my mate ordered are a complete shambles too.The two barrows which were ordered at the exact same time are coming as two seperate deliveries,so we thought one barrow on one delivery the other on the next,first delivery shows up and its the side bags for one of the barrows only.My mate called dpd apparently the next delivery is for one box,well according to Carpporter it should be 14 boxes in total.The next time I order anything I'm asking which courier they use and if it is Dopey Parcel Delivery I will cancel the order,shocking company with even worse customer service.

According to carpporter they did there should be 12 boxes on the next delivery,we will see later today but according to dpd customer service its one box

They are absolutely pants. They delivered some frozen deadbaits I had ordered to a house half a mile away from me, had same house number but not postcode. They even took a picture of it on the (wrong) doorstep. Thankfully the recipient found my phone number on the invoice inside the package and rang me so not much damage done but DPD didn't have a clue, just said they had delivered the package.

It has all arrived just a wrong size and colour barrow cover on one of the orders but carp porter are sorting that out

Buying crap porter it will fall apart in under a year anyway if Damaged Parcel Delivery have managed to get it there in one piece.

Can only speak as I find, my Mk6 24v porter is still going strong and gets used most weeks so, no complaints from me

My Porterlite is a few years old now, stored permanently in the boot of my car, where it does get a bit damp.
I pulled the barrow out 3 weeks ago for the first time in a year, and other than having to pump the tyre up before taking the gear 1/4 of a mile its in very good condition.
I hate DPD, if I see anything on ebay I message first to find out which carrier is used. If its Hermes/Evri or DPD, I don't bother.
My Porterlite is a few years old now, stored permanently in the boot of my car, where it does get a bit damp.

I never had any problems with the longevity of any of my carp porter barrows when Alan was running it
however seen complaints that recently they went to a thinner grade and people have had trouble with frames and welds failing ?

I didn't end up converting the fox barrow Gerry,I thought about it alot but decided on selling the fox and getting tye powerporter

This is now standard practice for DPD. We get so much stuff delivered here it is unreal. For us DPD are one of the better ones. It really all depends where you live. But....
Around six weeks ago we had a delivery of tubs turn up with DPD. It's normally 10 boxes plus, which always came together previously... But this time only one box was delivered while I was not there. It was meant to be 11 or 12 boxes. I spent an hour chasing, then another single box turned up. I questioned the driver... He told me this is now standard practice for DPD to split the deliveries up. Any order with multiple boxes now needs to be delivered individually.
I told him this was absolute craziness. He agreed, he said it was a way for DPD to charge the senders more, for the same service. This is being done under the guise of H&S he said.
I can see DPD going out of business soon....
