Can any of the older members on here remember the fish -rite bivvy socks?

They were quite long and had a waterproof non slip base on the bottom of the sock.You could wear them in your sleeping bag,and when you had a run ,you'd simply wipe the foot of the sock off and get back in the sleeping bag..

I've been ,not wearing socks ,as this quarry is deep and super snaggy, so when I get a run,and I don't get many of those ,I got to be moving real fast . .wearing croc's or shimano eviair's, slow me down,I have to be quick..!...I won't get a second chance..

What else could I wear,...as I can't find the fish -rite ones I had ,any ideas ..?

Even more oldskool than Fishrite - I used to have a pair of these - amazed you can still get 'em!

Those are positively futuristic! Wouldn't go to sleep with a sodden pair of those on either!

Or buy some birth face tractor mules easy on plenty of grip

Yes I had some were great. Mine only fell apart last year. To replace them I bought these to be honest there loads better more protection all round to your feet if fishing a gravel pit also.
