Is it just me or does this stuff just look a rushed idea ?

Rushed, not so much (he had a year's non compete to get the ideas right!)
I had a good look through all the products yesterday - one thing that surprises me is the lack of decent packaging. The large numbers and letters are all you see when they are on a wall - it does not stand out to you as anything more than numbers and letters.
With regards to the products - some of it is very crude and does seem rushed/slapdash (premade rigs!!) but some seems great (putty).
All in all - come in at a great price point with a cool QR code on the back of the packets... products not grabbing me, yet.

Seems like they've seen how much the market makes & jumped in to make that money rather than bring anything innovative to the scene,looks the sort of tackle you find in Go Outdoors or Decathlon

Use to work in go outdoors many years ago and they used to have decent tackle in there like Korda,fox and dynamite along with the crappy fladen gear.

I quite like the branding / packaging - one thing is for sure, OMC is using A LOT LESS plastic, which has to be a good thing.

You can bet that Ali will be doing the TV side of it and bringing out some fishing adventures very soon as he was the brains behind Korda's TV spotlight. He's the guy with the contacts and is known in that circle so watch this space...

I found there recent YouTube episode at Withy pool to be really strange...
False laughing strange folk on the bank which you then find out are staff for the brand and not people escaped from a mental hospital...
It was really weird...but that might be my just view of it.

You werent the one don't worry, i ended up just switching it off! I thinks it's because most of the fishing episodes he now does for OMC is just hyping up advertisement for their products and saying how amazing they are - dont get me wrong i get he needs to do that, but it just seemed a bit rubbish as was was constant!

Yeah, far far slightly cheaper.
EDITED: on review they aren't actually that much cheaper per product...
