If your looking for something cheaper, just get the 100T i take my little one and fit the trakker rlx along with his junior ridgemonkey and still enough room in there for kit amongst other bits no issues.

Asked the same question, no real info of address, company details etc. Might just be me but bit of a coincidence the company was set up just as Bcuk flopped and most of the stuff being advertised is pretty much all the same, even some of the terms & conditions are the same as the bcuk website - p&p part anyways. Me personally i'd be staying well clear!

Anyone know much info about ‘The Barrowman' is this just a coincidence that a new companies started up on the back of Bcuk folding or an actual genuine person? There isn't that much info i can see on the site with pictures etc or where the companies based - Thanks in advance.

You sound like me!🤣 last year i was in the same position and looked around for a decent waterproof jacket, not just for fishing, but dog walks etc.
After a good look around, i ended up biting the bullet and getting a Korda drykore Jacket in black. I know some people are against branded names etc for carp tax, and i will happily admit i was one of those people, but i have to say i've been really impressed with it.
I pretty much wear it everywhere i go now if its raining, spent a day at Pautons Park earlier in the year and it p**sed it down all day, apart from my feet (stupidly wearing trainers🤦♂️
i was bone dry so the jackets (and trouser's) definitely work!

I've used Manilla during the winter and caught fair few fish, although this was on shelf life, not the freezer ones!

Fished in 2021, had no issues with crays, but i would invest in some mice/rat traps as they are everywhere and will cause you more issues!

Yes mate, went in 2021. We had a lake booking with about 10 of us in total, everyone caught with 2x 50lb plus carp out and fair few 40's along with the Sturgeon that come out more than once in the week going over 100lb.
To be honest just fish like you would over here and you'll catch, plenty of fish in the lake (inc bream!) Most of us took Mainline Cell over with a load of pellet and particle, hookbait wise use what your putting out topped with a pink or white pop up, you should find most info, catch reports etc on the feedback when looking at the lake on Angling lines, scroll through a few and you'll see most do the same thing.
Facility wise, its pretty basic, unless they've upgraded which i very much doubt, shower wasnt the best, and take loo roll with you as they dont supply it, plus the toilets pretty small!
Be warned though the place is teaming with rats and mice that will quite happily come in your bivvies, climb over you and nibble anything they can, so maybe take a few traps with you.
To sum it up, fishing was good, glad i tried the place out, but wouldnt go back due to all the vermin and pretty poor facilities.

Like a few others have said, just use an old pair of shoe laces. Used to use this method back in my youth cycling down the river after school with my rucksack that carried bait and terminal tackle, those were the days
