I am after some new reels for my new 10ft dwarfs i have considered the SS260 now having 2nd thoughts is there a more suitable choice?

Look at the okuma inception inc 6000 pair up great on 10ft rods under £60 each or Daiwa GS4000 more updated version of the ss2600

I use gs4000 reels but they do require the washer upgrades to make the clutch more useable. But been fantastic small water reels.

I've been using gs400's on 10ft rods for a year now, smashing little reels, did the clutch upgrade but more importantly put metal line clips on them.
Had fish up to 34lb on them but at the time I wished I had a bit more cranking power 😬

Nowt wrong with SS2600's . . .have stood the test of time and are solid reels if cared for. Well worth QD'ing as although the existing clutch is decent its a long way round from loose to tight . . .

I've got daiwa emcast 25a on my 10ft and they are brilliant little reels, can't fault them.

Around 7 full turns from one extreme to the other and even fully closed it didn't really lock up and I use mine for snag fishing in winter. Swopped them for carbon and there perfect now. Around 1 full turn and lock up

for the okuma inception inc 6000....I would never have dreamt of using anything other than Daiwa reels but have been seriously impressed with these, for the money, (I paid £135 for 3...!) they simply cannot be beaten.
