Has anyone got any sneaky information on the soon to be released ESP Quickdraw rods? A message from ESP suggested that these will be available in Jan '22 and the odd glimpse has appeared on Instagram (I think Alfie Russel's). Essentially they look like another Scope type rod and might be just what I have been looking for...

Think it's 5 rods (full diploma and a couple of lengths and TC's, landing net plus luggage 👍👍 and yes, launched in January I think.

im in the market for some retractable rods, i dont suppose you have a link to where the rods are shown on video ... I appreciate it is probably just a glimpse

Have a look at Chiltern Custom rods.
I got a set built by them and am thrilled with the quality, price and most important to me, the service was brilliant and I was kept informed and they were delivered within the time scale promised.
I have had fish to 48lb 8oz on mine and they performed brilliiantly.
I have the 10ft 3.5lb for boat work and small water big fish venues in Europe.

Looks sensible from a price perspective. Be interested to see what the finish is like on the rods as the retractable section takes a lot of wear. Still waiting for someone to do one in a finish similar to freespirits and the tackle box CFXs

Forgot to add, will ESP be bringing out a brolly to match? Since wychwood stopped making the MHR 50 and nash stopped their offering the market seems wide open for a compact brolly. All these short rods but stuck with a 6ft brolly

I am a esp fan all Looks good price I think the sleeves are a bit pricey thoe compared to others I think brolly coming totally agree stupid decision by wychwood to stop the 50
