Looking to rent a log cabin/chalet for my 30th in October for me and the mrs

Ideally needs to be somewhere you can fish from the chalet/cabin , decent sized fish but not a solid water , catfish would be a bonus but being as it'll be October there not a must

Budgets around a grand for 4/5 nights , would consider France if the travel restrictions allow

Haven't got a clue where to start looking so if anyone has any pointers for what I'm after please make them known

There's quite a few in the Cotswolds Water Park, Welford Pools, Cherry Lakes, Little Horseshoe.

Also Blackthorn in Shropshire.

No cats in any of these but they meant to be decent.

I have never been but Rum Bridge fishery might be worth a look?

Not been but was looking at Mill Lodge Retreat earlier. Not done more than look at their website but may suit your needs
