I bought one for the same reason. Needed for longer hooklengths . Does the job well.

I use one of these, has done me well for years, not sure if you can still get them. I use the middle section for longer rigs or leaders.

Same as this for me. Is a bit bulky but the centre part is ideal for longer rigs or boom sections as can just wrap it round.

Get some 2 inch pipe lagging, cut off a 3inch length and wrap you longer rigs around it, then store them in an empty popup tub.

I recently bought the NGT plastic one for holding longer hooklinks, up to about 12". Think it was only about £4. I did have to modify the plastic bar that holds the hooks in - under tension, it would pull out of the retaining sockets. So I glued in a replacement steel one, and now it's good.
Regarding circular bin type holders, or pipe lagging, I stopped using these as your anti tangle sleeve becomes curved after a while. The smaller the diameter, the worse the curve.
I have used pipe lagging for catfish hooklinks where you need long hooklinks. But I don't use the curvature of it to store them for the reason stated above. I store them by threading the hooklink thru the hole in the lagging, securing the hook into the flat face, and then attaching the swivel onto the outside of the lagging with a pin. So you need a bit more than 1/2 the hooklink length of lagging, thus for a 12" hooklink, you need about 7" of lagging.

I remember doing this in the early nineties, think I've still got some rigs tied up like this somewhere in the loft.

thanks folks ... not keen on wrapping hooklinks myself ... Im only looking to store up to about 12" so thanks for the options

I use thin walled plastic tube that has a pipe lagging inside its 48" long and I keep my Barbel 48 inch hook lengths in and fit in my rod bag
you can make it any size of course

What about the double pins korda do,trap the hooklink with them so can have longer hooklinks.I get 3 hooklinks to each pin then just slightly bend them round so stay inside the box
