I've been using the silkworm for years now as I like it a lot. I'm just coming to the end of my last spool now but I can't seem to find it anywhere now . My local tackle shops don't seem to sell it anymore. I've looked on amazon and eBay. Can only find part used spools on ebay. I like to use the 25lb. As fish weedy lakes. Anyone no where I can get some more

Not shore if there something similar out there. I don't like using all these coated braids and so on. I like the softer materials.

I've been searching for a similar product for months now. Super Nova is as soft / supple but thicker & not such a good colour as silkworm. ESP braid is ok but not as supple. Tried other varieties but none as good as silkworm. Luckily i have 2 spools left but genuinely concerned about finding a decent replacement. I dont think that Kryston intend to make it / remake it either...

Not sure if Kryston used Silkworm for the inner on any of their coated braids? Might be worth finding out and possibly buying the coated version and stripping it?

The inside of snakebite was a tight woven braid with a fibreglass filament to make it rigid. ESP anchor braid in brown looks very similar to it from memory for me
I would have thought ESP sinklink would be as close as Silkworm's properties minus the colours, could be wrong?

real shame silkworm isn't around anymore, it was my favourite hooklink for a very long time, i haven't been able to get any either but i quite like esp sink link as an alternative

Keystone new merlin is between merlin and silkworm. I was a big fan of both and the new Merlin is seriously worth a look
