Looking for recommendations for a lightweight chair for day / short sessions.
I wanted the Carp Porter Lightweight recliner but they are out of stock and have said they do not expect to have any in the near future.
Have a JRC Stealth but not only is it really uncomfortable it's also really bulky! Don't want a really low chair, I have a dodgy back and would never be able to get out of it 🤣

I have a JRC Stealth X Lite . . .use it for rivers / barbel and its under 3kg - its certainly the opposite of bulky (its tiny) but I only use it on sloping banks with the rear legs folded . . .
Fox Duralite Low chair is slightly lighter / Korum Aeronium Supa lite is even lighter still. . .
For carping Trakker Levelite Transformer could be a good compromise (my carp chair of choice) as it doubles as a bedchair chair . .for a stand alone chair do like the look of the Nash Indulgence Ultralite however . . .

I picked up the Duralite Fox chair in the tackle shop the other. It's weighs hardly anything. Impressed

Maybe consider a Helinox forest green chair one xl..
I have one,I "wear"it around my neck ,or in the barrow bag on my porterlite barrow..
Its very very comfy,..it doubles for me as a day carp chair,course fishing chair,and a bivi chair..
Sold all my others over a year ago,now just use this one item

I use my 15 year old j r c x lite for days.
It has a nice high back and reasonably comfortable.
Not sure if it's still a current model but they do come up on the bay.

The standard duralite with no arms? Think it's called the duralite low.
I see they do a standard one, one with arms, and a combi one that goes over bedchair but don't really like the look of that

I have the fox duralte with arms although very very. Light I find that the legs on the front don't extend enough always feel I am leaning forward had to put rocks under them to raise the front

I have the JRC X lite recliner, decent chair, around 5kg.
Recently bought myself a Fox duralite chair, initial thoughts, impressed, weight is just less than 3kg and when you are walking around a mile, every bit counts trust me
Read on here a while ago about the stitching, keeping an eye on mine, looks a bit tatty around the front, like they have not finished the ends of the stitching correctly, £90, should be right ffs!

I have the tracker levelite recliner - its pretty light for what is quite a high recliner chair.
I havent had any problems myself but there was a thread on here a few days back about one breaking so might be worth looking into a bit more.
I can only speak from my own experience - its pretty light and really comfortable. They do a couple of versions. One has a longer back but doesn't recline, but I went for the reclining one - the back is still plenty long enough for me - Im 6'2" and 17st
It also has a couple of d-rings on the back so you can attach a strap - I didn't buy the tracker one they sell separate as I have another padded strap from an old Chub carryall I had

Yeh every little counts when you either have a long walk or are roving!
That's a shame regarding the fox build quality, I've steered clear of fox / Nash for a while due to having stuff fail in the past and reading on here + other places about it not lasting. As you say should really be lasting a while when spending out near 100 quid on a chair.

I've got a few chairs, jrc stealth xl for when there's a long walk, wouldn't call it comfortable, ok for short sessions.
Also got the trakker levelite recliner, easily the most comfortable I've had, light but bulky.

Only something I picked up on, on here mate. Think it was Zinno who was asking about chairs and I mentioned the fox one. Said he had heard about the stitching coming out on a few, noticed the stitching looks dodgy on mine, for £90 I expect it to be right, end of!
I will be keeping an eye on it, any problems it will be going back. Bought it mail order so that pisses me off, all the hassle of returns and all
Other than the stitching, 10/10 for me
I've had a bit of fox stuff over the years, evolution luggage was superb, wish I had never sold but I did as you do
My two rod set up is a fox fx sling and royal carryall for walking, no problems
