Anyone owned these from years back? Been offered a pair v cheap in great condition, thought they might make a decent small water rod. Tia

got a set of 3 of these.
perfect for small waters, light, crisp casting action etc
small butt ring, 30mm i think
not a modern rod by any shout , but a really nice old skool rod

Grab them, I have the 2.75's and they are a wonderful blank, I'd imagine the 2.5's will be lovely and almost went for them myself, lucky you!

Never used them but read great things. They are highly thought of.

So long as they are the "SPD"s ... this was when Wychwood made some of the best rods around .... Great blank and lovely rods

I remember these, once looked at them myself. I think they did these and another rod, more of a distance tool, could be wrong? both were available around the same time and both were built on quality blanks, cant remember which though, spiral weave if remember rightly the ones that you are talking about
