I'd say something like betastim, maybe the DNA hydros spods or good old fish sauce. I keep my ingredients in an unheated shed. Yesterday I was chopping up some bits of foam and cork to start glugging them for spring zigs. So I raided my ingredient liquids and none of the ones listed had congealed in the cold. Some of the oils were definitely looking a bit thick.

Another nod for Betastim. i use it all year round. In my humble opinion its one of the best attractors ive used. I use it on or in virtually every bait mix i put together.

Where to start, Winterized fish oils as used for Pike Fishing (search Ebay for the like), DNA liquids food/hydro's, swim stim (also very good, I like the green), various bloodworm & worm liquids, various Sensas liquids Aromix, Dynamite CSL.
I can't remember if all the above are pva friendly, a short search will halp, but if you're careful and use a powder in the bag you can get away with non pva friendly liquids provided you don't over do it.
Have a good look at match fishing liquids, loads of them about and well underated/overlooked on the whole by Carp anglers

Liquids do different things so it depends what you are trying to achieve. Some are heavy like the DNA Hydros, others will rise through the water column . What are you looking for?

I must admit your championing of minamino interests me with all the liquids you must have access to. After all these years and we can't come up with anything better.
I do agree it is good but too expensive for me nowadays. CSL would be my choice, another golden oldie.

Ha ha the old minamino! It's the reaction in water I find hard to beat! I do something with it that I have never seen another angler do and I'm only one more experiment away from perfection. For hookbaits and bags it is the perfect viscosity. In fact you need to slow down it's reaction or soak it in something to make it last longer. Amino acids similar in viscosity to water.....probably highly detectable!
The tests we did on the fish farm with shrimp, calanus, hydro salmon also had very positive results as I'm sure all the bait companies that sell it will agree with. The biggest edges in bait come in liquids

Minamino... Drops down and lingers on the bottom, enticing

The minamino I had, when I used it in pva sticks, instead of the usual oils, etc, on it's own it did just that in my glass tests.
At that time, I wanted something of liquid attraction, that didn't rise, was soluble, but not too quick to disappear from the spot.

When mixed with oil based flavours you get the best of both worlds (this isn't meant to be a plug) pour a hnv pro bait spray in the margins and watch! Surface action, sinking action and the ability to eat into porous surfaces. Ideal for a bait spray!
