im after a new bed for this year, i sleep on my side and being 20 stone and 6ft 4'' i could do with something made from scaffolding poles to take my "larger frame"

The Nash sleep systems are heavy duty but not sure of their rating, I would invest in a solid albeit heavier bed frame and not a lightweight bed that promises it will cope.
I have a SS3 wideboy (from memory) and it is a heavy duty unit 👍

I'm a big old lump as well, and also have trouble with my back,old injury,
And I end up getting the trakker els bedchair, after recommendations from others on the pit with similar problems
and had it a good few years,
and got to say it is absolutely perfect 👌 for my back, sleeping and strength
And can highly recommend it,
But also heard similar reports about the solar tackle wide bedchair

I think if your a person that sleeps on your back then a hard firm bed is great
BUT IF your a side sleeper a hard/firm bed is not for you (I could be wrong) so seek opinions from SIDE SLEEPING people not bad back people as they require different beds

I'm same height as you but a bit lighter, I also sleep on my side.
I use a Trakker levelite and find it very good, its one of the longest bedchairs out there at 214cm
I've had it 6 or 7 years now with no complaints, I have replaced the elastics with paracord which firmed it up a bit, but it had got very saggy.
I find it vert comfortable, and having had back and neck issues in the past comfort when fishing is very important for me.
Have a look at the new trakker beds. i'm sure there's one in the range that will suit you

I sleep on my side most off the time, and it's been perfect, and a good nights sleep,
So no issues for me sleeping that way,
I even use a small orthopaedic knee pillow Between my legs sometimes, which does help
I have added the trakker inflatable mattress for extra just in case
But best bedchair I've ever had,

I'm a 19 stone side sleeper and have had many different, mostly unsuitable, beds over the years. I have settled on a Nash ss3 wideboy. The best that I've had.
weighs a ton and is expensive. Only just fits in a trakker t100 bivvy. But its worth it.

I'm a 'big' side sleeper, I use a wychwood tactical x with a sim, no problems here.

I cannot fault my original Fox Flatliner, I am a stone lighter than you and a few inches shorter however, I am a side sleeper and it suits me fine.
A bit on the heavy side but, that is why it is so strong I suppose.
