My wife has given in and agreed to come fishing in France next year and friends are coming too. There will be 4 adults and 2 children. I will be the only angler. I have found lakes with accommodation but I need something that would also pass as a good holiday accommodation for the wife. She wants a bit of luxury!!

4 adults 2 kids and you are the only angler.
Personally I'd book a separate fishing trip and book a proper family holiday for you the other adults and the kids.

Thanks for the advice. We already have a 3 week family holiday booked, virus permitting. Its not all about the fishing. We have done it previously and I fished some days and we went out as a family others. It was a very relaxing break hence why our friends want to come. Unfortunately where we went last time only accommodates 4.

What about River Lot Paradise , it looks good for that sort of trip and the area is wonderful.

Last year went to Hirondelle with my family and the in laws which turned out to be a good holiday and the accommodation is very good. Booked Golden Oaks for 2022 for a similar holiday this time with my parents. The problem is most of the better places will already be fully booked for next year and many for the year after so you may struggle with being quite short notice

Without doubt the best venue I've ever been to for accommodation and fishing is Puyravaud near Limoges. Lovely area and swimming pool for the family
