Sitting by the lake and have heard a couple of runs and had one of my own,I've got ntxrs and love the polyphonic sound when zipped up on full sensitivity , what are your thoughts

don't think you can beat the sound of nevs personally.
never used em but think they sound the dogs

Don't really mind as long I can't hear it from the next swim! One of my pet hates, apart from a bivvy mallet, is someone adjusting their alarms and I can hear them from the other side of the lake.

IMO nothing comes close to the |Delkim warble on full chat

Delkims warble to prevent feedback, true fax kids

A continuous single tone was creating design problems.

Old optonics with the more slotted veins now they did scream

Nevilles all day for me, a neville screamer is relentless...they even keep going after youve picked up the rod and started playing the fish!

On the very rare occasions I got a night bite with Delkims I used to wake up thinking I was being abducted by aliens...a blue glow all round the peg and a weird warbling sound!

A clueless angler with a set of 3 Delks all on the most sensitive setting, different tones and on full volume fished on tight lines on a wobbly pod. When one goes off with a screamer, they all go.

Got to say I've never owned Neville's and havent seen many backside so havent heard them when I started carping I must say the sound of the old optonics was spot on
