Never been before and wanted a few tips/tactics to show my mates up who have been before, I hear it's an easy venue where a hook in the water will catch, but I want to haul them and out fish my mates.

Just put it in the water more times than your mates then lol

Apparently sloppy **** over zigs works well there

Spodding over zigs.......just keep going until they turn up....then keep going until you go home. Always carnage

I used 30kg of particle in 36 hours.
caught 59 carp to 24lb

keep spodding, then spod again, then land a fish and carry on spodding..........

Chinese take away is banging on there I must add.

its a res mate so bottom is rock hard.
just fill it in with bait.
zigs or bottom baits it don't matter. don't overthink it just feed them and they will come.

i went there before i was into carp fishing i was catching plenty on method feeder. i honestly think any tactic works there bud, its heavily stocked.

I went a couple of weeks back and it had been very quiet that week and even some of the regulars were struggling.

As in actually blanking.

Were they using hooks?
