First to put his post in perspective is that I am not buying but more an observation. I have noticed that everywhere is virtually out of stock of components for korda singlez (stainless in particular) and I have seen loads of posts from people on social media hunting bits and bobs because of incomplete sets. Why is this? Korda say they have stock but no where seems to have it. Seems rather odd to me.

Pretty sure you'll find this isn't just a fishing problem, C19 has affected manufacturers, suppliers, middle men, the lot, it'll be a while before it's back to normal.

Yeah I went in my local shop and enquired about a pod & 2+1 buzz bars from Jag over the weekend. The lad in shop said it may be a wait as they were supplying NHS with parts for ventilators or something.
And I do know they make the Korda singles stuff.

It might also be down to some shops simply not buying more stock in for now, to keep a cash flow in the company.
If they have a minimum order for example. Or worried people aren't going to spend the money during covid so not willing to order a grand worth of kit for example of say 'lucrative' items over some hooks and line to keep ticking by
plus some stuff coming from china when they were locked down etc the knock on effect is continued until they keep up with demand i imagine, same for british manufactures working on reduced staffing not being able to produce a lot of anything, well, worldwide at one point
So a few reasons that all add up in my view

Do AD run from a central warehouse or individual shops order their own stock? They may have enough stock to last if they run a central warehouse.

I was told that Nash have a container on the way. Anything that's not in that delivery now won't be available until November.
