My son and I were at Elphicks in Kent
For 24 hours on Wednesday. Ideal conditions for fishing
Though I got wet. Lazy sod went to sleep at
5pm and never woke again. So for a while I worked
4 rods. His ended up reeled in. I couldn't keep up
I lost count at about 25 fish probably 10
More before reeling in at 10pm. I woke at 6 but just
Laid there 😂.

Just mine at 9 am and had 5 more. None massive. Biggest
Was 21lb. A 19. Two 18s and the rest were low to mid teens.
I've never had so many in such a short time.

Up until 2 weeks ago the fishing was very good, then they spawned, will see what its like next week.
Was really good 2 weeks ago and it has slowed right down up north hard going

Haven't blanked since lock down lifted and fishing both syndicate and club waters - I don't fish any runs waters. Fish spawned late May on most waters where I am, was slow for a couple of weeks, but has since been pretty good. Had a lot of 20's and 5 x 30's so far. Doing well, given I'm mostly doing days at weekends. No where fishing badly. I'm fishing waters in Essex, Herts and Cambs.

I agree hard going everywhere, I have put it down to the amount of pressure everywhere is seeing due to people been of on Furlough.

Just done a 24 and had a 19 and my mate had 3 including a 30. Plenty of fish bubbling and fish leaping out. I suspect the heavy rain on Thursday might have helped. Most lakes are rammed after lock down and some people on furlough living at the lakes. The French brigade are staying at home so the pressure on all lakes is probably at a all time high. Summer can be a difficult time and the fish a bit lethargic but should come on when the weed starts to die down and the oxygen levels increase.

In the colne valley My syndicate is fishing slow and has been since it opened up in the 1st of June so I've been fishing a day ticket of which does a season ticket so I've spent most of my time on there I've done 12 nights since lockdown only 4 fish nothing over 21 not the most prolific of waters by any stretch but has been rammed. Last few years you've been lucky to see more than 3 or 4 anglers during the week but more like 15 to 20

rivers are now fishing well for Barbel and chub plus lots of Carp getting caught I suspect a lot have escaped from lakes into the rivers from last winters floods
I just did 3 nights on the tidal for 11 barbel

The rivers are extremely patchy, I'm on the tidal now (Sutton) and it's the worst ever start to a season according to the bailiffs. Seems to be that they've spawned late and are still up near Collingham weir, whereas the middle and upper do seem to be producing quite well.
It wasn't you I saw with a fish from Collingham weir the other day was it btw?

Its a bit up and down for me tbh.. The last of the recent sunny days saw me on my club water floater fishing..Its not easy fishing, but I managed 5 including a low 20 on a new rod. My syndi has been very 'peggy' ..some spots have produced some haven't even if fish are obviously present in both.... Returned home after a 48hr session yesterday where I did @24 hrs on both waters. Syndi was quiet with only two of us on!! I blanked ,dont know about other chap. Club water was rammed Thurs am to Fri Lunchtime. A chap a few pegs down from me had three mid doubles while I managed a 26. Nothing else out.
