Looking to use some paracord on my bedchair. Looking online to get some and can't figure out what diameter I will need. Most of what I can see seems too thin at 3 or 5mm. Was guessing 10mm would be minimum.
What have other people used and where did you get it from.

you can always double up 5mm.
I did the centre section on a flatliner with 5mm doubled and it is fine

Battlecord has a breaking strain of about 1200kg 5.6mm diameter if it's strength you are after

When i did my old trakker levelite i initially ordered 9mm this would have been fine for the normal loops on most of the bedchair but was too big to go through the hinge sections, i then ordered some in 7mm which was ideal

Done my nash wideboy with double 5mm. E bay from China

Did my old fox bed with double 5mm and it's perfect now.
Just replaced the elastic on mine a few days ago and used 6mm. Seems very strong and sturdy
