No doubt he's a good angler. But that also. Did my head in. I know it's a podcast about himself but the same references came up again and again. He does what he wants when he wants. Well unless sticky wychwood or TA tell him different 😂

Though he said it as it is I totally understand what he is about I could relate to the growing up and being out sodding about an fishing an having no interest in being at school we didn't burn milk trays we used rope .. Same effect zwiip zwiip 😂 made me laugh.. I'm only a few years younger than him so I've seen the changes in carp fishing and the likes of the internet and having it all on a plate.. And all the fantastic fishing gear that's available today. Most of it is 50% bull crap.. 😂 If not more to be fair... His take on **** bait ingredients 100% spot on
His out look on life fair play to him.. We can all do what we like but he has the ******** to do it and I don't with my job mortgage.. I've been fortunate to have had a number of years doing loads of fishing and having it all on a plate and I lost interest in it it was all to much.
Was a very interesting podcast and I mite watch it again.
Good luck to him.. And you if you are reading this far. It's just fishing and life can be **** and good so yeah do as much as you can to enjoy it.. As no one gets a second chance

Brilliant Podcast that will undoubtedly put a few noses out of joint or burst a few bubbles. He has pretty much nailed the modern carp scene for what it is.
Have to agree that Germany is at the forefront of carp angling, for those that have spent time in Germany - you cant help but notice the massive untapped waters that are tucked away. Those German boys have been keeping it on the QT and fair play to them.

I think the only thing Nick didn't lay claim to was inventing camo before the military, creating the rave scene, and teaching Pablo Escobar his trade.... everything else Nick pioneered a decade early.
As post 131 says, we have all been there, we just choose to remember the days, but without trying to win the 'who took the most' competition.
